As a data processor we collect and store information for users of our system. We also collect and store information for data subjects that are our customer's customers, but who are not yet users of our system.

User data is data provided to us by a user of our services. User data is collected when an individual is entering information about themselves during a logged out session or a logged in session while logged in as themselves. Client data is collected when a logged-in user of our system enters information about another person into our system. ANYTIME A LOGGED IN USER SESSION RESULTS IN THE STORED INFORMATION ABOUT ANOTHER PERSON, THAT DATA IS CONSIDERED CLIENT DATA ABOUT A DATA SUBJECT.

The design of the Tula Software system, combined with the business model of our customers, can result in a data subject assisting a data controller by entering information about themselves into the Tula Software system, while the data controller user is logged into the system. Data collected about a data subject, when logged in as a user operating on behalf of a data controller, is considered client data, regardless of which person enters this information. IF YOU ARE A DATA CONTROLLER, AND YOU WANT YOUR DATA SUBJECTS TO ACCEPT THE TULA SOFTWARE PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ENTER INFORMATION ABOUT THEMSELVES WHILE YOU ARE LOGGED INTO YOUR ACCOUNT IN ANY PART OF THE APPLICATION INCLUDING ELECTRONIC WAIVERS.

Client data is data provided to us about a person, who may or may not be a user of our system, by a user of our system. For example, a yoga studio owner may write notes, or upload a document, about a person that attends classes at their studio. This data is considered client data that is controlled by our user. It is important to understand that with the Tula Software services a single user account can have both user data and client data associated with it.
